Blanche DuBois The Antithesis of a Modern Woman Essay

BLANCHE DUBOIS: THE ANTITHESIS OF A MODERN WOMAN Blanche DuBois, in A Streetcar Named Desire, is what a critic Ruby Cohn calls Williams masterpiece contradiction. (Bloom 70) Tennessee Williams is considered to be one of the most renowned playwrights of the twentieth century in American Literary History. As a playwright, he is best known for writing A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and The Glass Menagerie. Williams A Streetcar Named Desire, focuses on the declining sanity of his central character, Blanche DuBois. While Tennessee Williams considered Blanche DuBois to be a liberated, modern woman, many feminist critics contend that she is just the opposite. Compared to other authors, Tennessee†¦show more content†¦His experiences in St. Louis, especially his first homosexual affair, greatly influenced his writing. At one point, Williams states, ?Is a lifetime long enough to hold the regret that I have for that fantastically aborted but crazily sweet love-affair (Williams 33) Williams later moved to New Orleans to strengthen his writing career, but he mentions his regret for leaving his lover behind. In a conversation with Professor William S. Gray, Williams stated, the three of us had great fun together ? early afternoons swimming at Pontchartrain Beach, late afternoons having long conversations over a cool drink on patio, evenings eating at some French Quarter restaurant, then walking around the colorful streets of the Quarter. These are among the happiest memories of my life.? (Steen 14) From the first moment that he arrived in New Orleans, Williams completely fell in love with the place. He has been quoted on several occasions saying, ?The French Quarter is my inspiration for writing ?A Streetcar Named Desire. Williams? ?A Streetcar Named Desire? is set in a poor section of the French Quarter in New Orleans. The reader is immediately introduced to the main character, Blanche DuBois, who is daintily dressed in white, a color associated with innocence and chastity. Protecting Imsi And User Privacy Networks â€Myassignmenthelp.Com

Question: Discuss About The Protecting Imsi And User Privacy Networks? Answer: Introduction 5G network is mobile communication that provides data and voice communications which can be incorporated to other technologies of internet of things (IoT) [1]. This network provides services to vertical companies that incorporate various forms of communication and networking services. There are various technologies that promote the capability of 5G. These technologies are Network finance Virtualizations, and Software Defined Network. These technologies enable 5G to server many companies more effectively. With the new 5G technologies, an emergence of new threats that comes into play. These threats raises various security issues that need to be address in order to ensure that the services provided by the 5G network is efficient and more reliable. Background The main aim of using 5G network is to ensure that there is high and reliable level of security across the entire mobile network. 5G therefore is expected to provide quality solutions to the existing mobile networks problems using other networks such as 4G, 3G and 2G. There are main areas that are targeted by the attackers in computer networks [2]. These are network access, user equipment and mobile core and external networks. 5G network therefore comes with solutions on how to address and manage these security issues as discussed below. Network equipment Network or user equipment consists of devices such as tablets and smartphones that are 5G enabled. These devices are mainly targeted due to their popularity in usage, use of third party programs that are open source, having a wide connectivity variety ranging from wifi, Bluetooth, 2G, 3G and 4G network. Using these devices an attacker can easily penetrate into a network using malwares, which hide innocently on downloadable applications. In auditing, malicious attack such as information theft, hacking can also occur on other networks [3]. All these issues targeted to user equipment are well addressed on 5G network. The network dynamically detect any kind of malicious actions or node and distinguish it from other network devices. 5G carries out an experiment of the new device introduced to the network in order to determine whether the equipment has been compromised or not. Network Access To prevent an authorized network access, 5G implements a strong end user authentication mechanism that prevents intrusion to the targeted network. This is done by use of two techniques, which are applied cryptography algorithm and credential storage. This makes it impossible for an attacker to implement weak cryptography algorithm and access the network as it is the case with earlier generations of network used. An end user credentials therefore ought to be placed in a much secured and highly resistant place. Mobile core and external networks This attack takes place through the use of DDoS attacks which amplifies the network signal and targets external networks or equipment via the end user network. This occurs mostly especially, where users use their own devices to connect onto the network commonly known as bring-your-own-device approach. To prevent this the 5G network implement cross layer fault management, which detects any fault occurrence, diagnose the fault and recover from it. This prevents an intruder from attacking other IP networks from the 5G device [4] . Conclusion Its is therefore evident that 5G addresses major security issues that has been experienced in other network generations more effectively thus making 5G network more reliable for enterprise business companies. The network comes with fault tolerance and security mechanisms that prevent intruders from conducting malicious attacks using the 5G connected devices. References R. psy 2315 unit 2 essay Essays - Psychology, Adjustment, Milliradian

Jacari Gentry, PSY 2315, Spring 2019 Unit 2 Explain how the lyrics relate to adjustment How does the lyrics relate to adjustment? In the psychology, the term adjustment refers to when individuals are able to balance their needs or desires when they are challenged by obstacles in their environment. Adjustment is a process that humans have to face regularly, because we often transition through many phases throughout our lifetime. These can be changes in where one lives, their occupation, or even with friendships and relationships. Although it may prove to be difficult for some, learning how to cope with adjusting could prove to be beneficial for one's overall happiness with their life. These lyrics written by Irving Kahal show an individual who has accepted the adjustment that he has to make in life. The lyrics tell a story of a relationship that has a strong bond between two individuals that will have to adapt to not being to see each other for the foreseeable future. The writer uses the environment around him to help with accepting the adjustment. The lyrics explain how old familiar places, such as a small cafe and the neighborhood park, help the writer remember old memories that were shared with his partner. The writer also uses nature to describe the feelings he has for his partner. Chestnut trees are used to describe the time of the year, and Kahal uses that to express how the little things are used to help with adjusting. Kahal also references the sun and the moon to resemble night and day. When he looks at each one, it continues to remind him of his partner. After reading these lyrics, it helped me understand that adjustment can be easy to deal with if one chooses for it to be. One has to be willing to adapt to sudden changes and use the tool around them for the process to go smoother. I do believe that using the environment around us is the best way to cope with adjusting.
